You really don't have to though, you know. I would be more than happy to just let you take one of them so your roster can grow. All I want is to be sure they are all going to good homes, after all.
I want to be able to target any Pokémon's weakness, so I figure the best way to do that is to have one of every type available for battle.
[It seems to be the most efficient way, since he can't figure out how to cover all his type weaknesses. He's still learning.]
Ah, no, I couldn't just take it for free! I can certainly provide a good home, but I wouldn't want to take it without giving you some sort of payment.
[His expression softens after a moment though.]
...Everyone has been so kind here. You're not the first person who has offered to let me have an egg for free. That's not the extent of it, of course, that's what made me think of it. I'm... really glad I'm here.
I'm very glad to hear that. Most of the people living here are very nice, and they don't mind helping each other out. Many breeders are more than happy to give away their eggs for free to new trainers.
But if you do want to pay for it, that's fine too. I hope to breed quite a few eggs this time, so you should have a lot of different types to choose from.
That sounds excellent. I already have Normal, Psychic, Fairy, Fire, Ice, Rock, Poison, and Flying, though several Pokémon I have are dual types. I'm not sure if that's more useful or less useful.
So many already...you should be able to get the rest in no time, then.
Dual types can be very useful, yes! Though, I think it very much depends on what you plan on using them for. Sometimes they can be tricky for battles, due to having an extra type to think about...but that also makes them stronger, too.
I wonder if there's a type combination that isn't weak to anything... Though I suppose that would make the Pokémon incredibly powerful if it had no weaknesses.
Thank you for the advice, I'll be sure to be careful!

GO FIGHT WIN!!
Wow...one of every type? That is very impressive.
[He shakes his head a little, smiling.]

[He can tell you what horrible combinations of Pokemon can breed, though, if you're interested...]
You're welcome. As long as you have planned for their weaknesses, I don't think you'd have much of a problem.
