[The video opens to show Rossiu seated on the bed in a hotel room. He's wearing his usual outfit, completely with stupid poncho and currently has quite a few books spread out before him. They're all incredibly simple and have more pictures than words, but the topic seems to be Eevees and their evolutions. The Pokémon in question is sleeping sprawled on top of some of the books.]

Hello. I have a question for you. I'm sure this has been asked plenty of times before, but what should I evolve my Eevee into?

[Rossiu picks up one of the books, flipping the pages absently as he thinks.]

I already have the following types: Psychic, Ice, Fire, Grass, and Fairy. That leaves Umbreon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon. I suppose I could keep him as an Eevee, but I'm not sure what the advantages to that would be.

[He finally looks back up at the 'Gear, his expression still far too serious for this conversation.]

I'd like to hear about your experiences with Eevees and their evolved forms as well. While I would prefer to evolve him into a type I don't have, I'm not opposed to going with something else.

Oh, and I have another question. Does anyone know why Eevee has so many different evolution choices? I thought all Pokémon had one path of evolution.

[Rise nods and moves the camera so Jin can be seen more clearly. He's apparently fast asleep.]

This is Jin. His trainer left, so he's been pretty depressed. He's not my only shiny. I've got a shniy Beautifly from another trainer who left, and she's so different from a regular Beautifly!

Oh wow, that's incredible. Are there any other differences besides the color?

[He'll get back to the Eevees in a moment, this is something he's been curious about since Chihiro mentioned it to him!]

Not that I noticed. They pretty much act the same as their own kind. Just a different color. Himiko doesn't treat Jin any differently than she does Chiisai.

[If anything, both Eeveelutions were mothering him.]

Ah, I see. That's very interesting.

[...right, the Eevees!!]

Can you tell me a little about the ones you have? What are they like in battle?

[This guy had a lot of questions...]

Eh? Well, Himiko is a Fairy type. She has these really cute looking moves that really pack a punch. She doesn't look very threatening either, so some of the Pokémon trainers I've gone against really underestimate her.

As for Chiisai, she's a Dark type. She's more of a physical fighter than Himiko. But that's okay. It's good to have a balanced team~ I've only used her a couple of times since I got her, since she's still sad about her trainer leaving. She doesn't mind battling.

[He's got to make sure he chooses the right one!]

Hmm, they both sound like they'd be useful in battle. I'll definitely consider both of them. I've already got a Fairy-type, but they are pretty cute.

[Also having people underestimate them is a very sound strategy!!]

I've got three Fairy type Pokémon. Though I have a lot of different types, too. I really want an ice type! Maybe Jin would like to be a Glaceon...

[Glaceon looks so elegant. Though Leafeon looked really cute and whimsical.]

Glaceon looks like it would be an interesting one to raise! I already have an Ice-type so I don't think I'll get one, but they look very cute too.

You don't want doubles of a type?

[Why???]

Ah, it's not that I don't want doubles, it's just that I'd like to collect one of each type first. I want to have a well-rounded team so I can take on any challenge.

That sounds like something a scientist would do...

A scientist...? Oh no, I'm definitely not a scientist.

[IT'S KIND OF HARD TO BE A SCIENTIST IF YOU'RE STILL LEARNING HOW TO READ...]

I'm just interested in making sure I can cover all of my weaknesses in battle. I don't want to be caught off-guard by anything!

You know, even if you cover them all, it's not gonna stop someone from beating you.

I know. I'm not expecting to win based on type coverage alone. I know it will involve a lot of work and training and studying to learn everything I need to know. That's alright though, I don't mind. I'll do everything I can to work with what this world has given me.
