I'M GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN, FRIEND! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?
Thank you! I got the idea from some of the people in Cherrygrove; they were trying to explain the technology behind Porygon to me, but I didn't understand much of what they said.
[Giant fighting robots make way more sense, okay.]
Violet's been very nice! I'm afraid I'm going to get lost between the inn and the Pokémon Center, but it's a wonderful new experience.
I HAVE BEEN /WELL/ CURRENT OBJECTIVE: IN SEARCH OF TRAINERS WHO CAN MAKE PIE I WILL PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION AS IT SURFACES
[Chihiro chuckles softly on the other end. Not at Rossiu, mind, but at the Porygon antics going on while they talk.]
That is understandable. They are...very interesting creatures. But I have found that the easiest way to learn about them is to talk to them directly. They're more than happy to tell you everything they know.
Oh, hopefully you won't! It's usually pretty straightforward...but if you are worried, maybe you can remember what landmarks are around so you will be able to find your way back easily.
MAY YOUR SEARCH FOR PIE BE VERY **FRUITFUL** GET IT, IT'S A JOKE BECAUSE THERE IS FRUIT IN SOME PIES
[He's not surprised about Dimension's interest, it's a very talkative Porygon and usually communicates with Rossiu through the 'Gear. He's a lot slower at reading the texts, so he'll check what they've been saying later.]
I've been talking to Dimension through the 'Gear, but I also obtained a Psychic-type who can help. It's been nice talking to them and learning more about them.
Thanks for the advice. I'm sure I'll learn my way around eventually, but Dimension and the others have been good about figuring out where I need to go.
HA HA HA YES THAT WAS A /VERY/ CLEVER JOKE DIMENSION! :>
That's good! They should help you out a lot, then.
[It's a good thing that arriving with a Pokemon comes standard with this place. It helped keep Chihiro from worrying about Rossiu too much, at least.]
I was actually going to tell you...I'm planning on breeding a new clutch of eggs sometime in the next few weeks. If you notice something you like when I do, I would be happy to let you have one of them. Most of them should have some very useful moves right from the start.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I HAVE BEEN WORKING VERY HARD ON COMING UP WITH JOKES! MY TRAINER DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR SO I WOULD LIKE TO HELP HIM!
Oh, that would be nice! I can pay you for it, that won't be a problem! I'm trying to get at least one of every type of Pokémon, but I don't really want to get overwhelmed with the number of Pokémon I'm training...
You really don't have to though, you know. I would be more than happy to just let you take one of them so your roster can grow. All I want is to be sure they are all going to good homes, after all.
I want to be able to target any Pokémon's weakness, so I figure the best way to do that is to have one of every type available for battle.
[It seems to be the most efficient way, since he can't figure out how to cover all his type weaknesses. He's still learning.]
Ah, no, I couldn't just take it for free! I can certainly provide a good home, but I wouldn't want to take it without giving you some sort of payment.
[His expression softens after a moment though.]
...Everyone has been so kind here. You're not the first person who has offered to let me have an egg for free. That's not the extent of it, of course, that's what made me think of it. I'm... really glad I'm here.
I'm very glad to hear that. Most of the people living here are very nice, and they don't mind helping each other out. Many breeders are more than happy to give away their eggs for free to new trainers.
But if you do want to pay for it, that's fine too. I hope to breed quite a few eggs this time, so you should have a lot of different types to choose from.
That sounds excellent. I already have Normal, Psychic, Fairy, Fire, Ice, Rock, Poison, and Flying, though several Pokémon I have are dual types. I'm not sure if that's more useful or less useful.
So many already...you should be able to get the rest in no time, then.
Dual types can be very useful, yes! Though, I think it very much depends on what you plan on using them for. Sometimes they can be tricky for battles, due to having an extra type to think about...but that also makes them stronger, too.
I wonder if there's a type combination that isn't weak to anything... Though I suppose that would make the Pokémon incredibly powerful if it had no weaknesses.
Thank you for the advice, I'll be sure to be careful!

[With Zip in his Gear, Chihiro doesn't have to switch to text to allow the Porygon to respond. He just does so without having to ask.]
HELLO HELLO!
GREETINGS c:
Dimension. That's a good name for them, I think. And I am glad to hear you are doing well! Do you like Violet City so far?

Wow...one of every type? That is very impressive.

[He can tell you what horrible combinations of Pokemon can breed, though, if you're interested...]
You're welcome. As long as you have planned for their weaknesses, I don't think you'd have much of a problem.
